  1. To use one of the sample backgrounds, create or open a new webcam document.

  3. If the image size is 320x240:
  4. 1. Select "Background Picture" in the Document menu. 
  5. 2. Click on the "Custom Picture" radio button and choose the sample picture "320x240 drop shadow"
  6. 3.  Set the video offset to 1, 1.  That will move the video image 1 pixel down and to the right, which is what this sample picture requires.
  7. 4. Click "Save" to close the dialog.

  11. If the image size is 160x120:
  12. 1. Select "Background Picture" in the Document menu. 
  13. 2. Click on the "Custom Picture" radio button and choose the sample picture "160x120 drop shadow"

  15. 3. Click "Save" to close the dialog.

  17. You can create your own background pictures--a picture frame, computer monitor, TV set, remote control, or other console are all possible background ideas!
